We are part of an all volunteer ministry that helps people in need in the Southeastern corner of Appalachia. There are some local groups of helping agencies but most are not ministries and not volunteer based. It would be good to talk to other ministries doing something similar in other places.

I can find all kinds of "Christian groups too: and have done many searches but not finding one that is specifically where ppl in this kind of ministry can encourage and help each other. Surely somebody has started one if not maybe we should

I searched "Crossearch", a directory of all kinds of Christian sites. Couldn't find anything specifically for people in help ministries, but you might want to check it out--I didn't go through all the categories by any means! : http://www.crosssearch.com
