That's an easy one...a premium cigar is a 100% hand made cigar made with long filler tobacco (meaning full leaves, not pieces of tobacco-a cheap cigar has you spitting out the short fill because when u smoke them the short fill always enters your mouth) Anyway a premium cigar is ALSO a cigar that has been properly cured or aged...usually a premium cigar is aged at the very least 2 years. Usually under a year as raw tobacco, and at least 4 months as a rolled cigar...

That is the bare minimum for being a premium cigar...more expensive cigars consist of rare tobacco, years of aging, and better primings from the tobacco plant....

If it's hand rolled from long filler tobacco by a well known maker with a reputation for quality and costs more than a few dollars a stick- you've got yourself a premium cigar. Fire it up and enjoy!

I once worked for a guy who was a very successful investor. He smoked the STINKIEST cigars in the world, even though smoking in buildings were against the law at that time. He was so rich, he'd just pay the fines.

Everything he has....is the BEST. So I suppose his cigars were the best...............and S T I N K Y ...

It was awful! The only reason I tolerated him was because he was extremely generous to his employees. Then he laid us all off. That bastard.
