Yes that is possible and it is reasonable. Add at least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise a week. Eat reasonably - focus on portion control and quality (no fast food). Don't eat any food after 7 pm.

Put in everything you do for the 1440 minutes in a day, and get your daily calories burned total. Should be around 2000. Remember that 3500 calories in either direction is a pound gained or lost, and bingo. Even if you don't exercise at all, you just have to undereat 733 calories daily.
Better than that, if you eat healthy, and have complex carbs (whole grains, apples, etc.), no artificial sugar, high fiber diet, and you exercise a couple times a week, you'll be burning more calories and having a higher metabolism, so you can eat more what you want.
Remember this, a bag of romain lettuce, a serving of cheese, a serving of lean chicken breast, and a serving of dressing is only going to be a couple hundred calories. Things like that are golden.
Also, get a multivitamin each day if you're not getting all of your fruits/veggies.

Best way to do it actually. I've been loosing weight lately and my doctor told me 2 pounds a week is very healthy. Although I've been averaging 10 lbs a month. I walk a mile 3 times a week and don't eat much junk anymore. Don't cut out junk food completly because you'll eventually get fed up and binge. Good luck

sure that is more then possible i have lost more than that in 6 weeks
I don't recomend doing anything to hurt yourself
It sound easy and obvios but truly just watch what you eat no bread, pasta, red meat or junkand especially no potatoes eat lots of fruits and vegatables fill up on the good stuff and some exercise helps 10 pounds will be very easy you might even lose more
i recomend lots of snacking on fruit
eat chicken with no breadcrumbs no dressing as a meal
and eat nothing fried

a few years back i lost 4 stone (64 pounds) in 8 weeks, from not eating very much and excercising every day, the downside was in loosing the weight that fast when i started eating home cooked meals again (i had moved out on my own) i put all the weight back on again and some, but in truth i have never felt as healthy as i did when i lost the weight, so in answering your question yeah it is easily possible to loose 10lb in 6 weeks as long as you dont starve yourself or anything like that you shouldnt put it back on again :D

LOL.. i lost 10 lbs in 1 week by not eating anything and sitting on my butt all day at the computer.... (and i have an uber slow motabolism)
...however i absolutely do not reccomend you do that yourself....
I'm just saying.. it is possible... in 1/6th the time you are asking :P

Sure...simple. As always reduce your caloric intake and increase your aerobic exercises. Say to at least 30 each day. Avoid sodas, alcohol and junk food.

in six weeks? -- easy
decrease your calories to around 1600 a day and increase your workouts in duration - maybe not intensity.
