They are a brutal antipersonnel weapon - devastating to soldiers in wartime, and responsible for the maiming and loss of limbs for millions of farmers in peacetime (especially women and children).
They should be outlawed by the Geneva Convention and/or the United Nations.

Landmines?
Landmines should be planted for all along the borders, the whole length, and 60 yards deep.
Thats my opinion of land mines.

All the countries in NATO besides the US has agreed not to use them.
They can slow down armies for a few hours, unless your the US army in witch case you just wasted some good mines on anti-mine scrapers.

They should be dug up afterwords so the innocents years later want have to die or lose limbs. is what I think,and made of something so they can detect them years later.
land mines should be placed by the millions on our southern border in front of and behind a very high wall.

What I am against:
- Anti Personnel mines that are buried. (US uses claymore)
- Mines that are left behind and not dug out or disposed of.
What I think wold be good idea:
- Putting them along the border, the entire length and width,
both anti personnel and anti tank.
oh yeah,.... a .50 cal every 5 meters too!!! hehehehe

They are working on a more accurate landman that detects the vehicle driving over it and only explodes on enemy vehicles. I don't think we are using mines though. The enemy is

it is messy, and after the war ones that were not discharged are hazards to the civilian, but sorry thats war.

they do a great job!! keeps my perimeter secure and terrorizes the bedevil out of the bad guys!
