I just read an interesting phrase:
"Instead of praying to something we don´t see we should pray to a cement sac. In this life we should only believe in what is CONCRETE."

You sure believe in things that you don´t see or even touch.
You believe that there is a flow of electrons through an electric wire; you believe in the air that you breath, etc. You don´t see them but you perceive the effect of their action.
I believe in God, that I don´t see with my physical eyes, but I see and feel the effects of His wondrous actions. I "see " Him with my spiritual eyes for GOD is Spirit.

do you know about Faith? What is your definition of it? Faith is believing in something when common sense tells us not to. So you make up YOUR own mind on how you feel we came to be and what you believe is the purpose of life and then have faith in that belief and if you wish you can base that belief by a higher power as many people do and have faith in that power as well.

Trace, there is a verse in the bible, "faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God". Just as you might want to build physical strength, what would you do? You'd start eating all the right foods, you'd work out faithfully with certain equipment to build muscles, you would have a plan and work on that plan...and you would see results, true?

Faith is like that. Reading, meditating on, and studying God's word diligently, seeking God in prayer. Listen to praise and worship music. Keep your eyes on Jesus Christ. It will not happen overnight, but it will happen, just as if you dedicate yourself to building a stronger body, you can also build faith by doing all these things. You will see God's word proven true all around you, and in you. He will write His word on the tablets of your heart.

Do you have children/nieces/nephews? Some things that are intangible are no less relevant than sight and sound. You put a lot of faith into a lot of things that you can't see...you just don't realize it. Religion is small potatoes (in proper context) when compared to what is REALLY important.

We all want to feel that there is a greater purpose to this life. If there wasn't something bigger than us, what would be the purpose in living? Believing in something greater than us, gives us peace of mind and hope for the future.

Because the things I cant see are so much more wonderful than the things I can see. Tell a honey bee his wings are too small to carry him and he will tell you of faith.

Actually we can test air, we can test atoms, we can see the effects; people who think air is based on faith needs to get an education.

But anyway, I think its something you feel, like when you know your in a tough situation yet you feel less worried because you can feel God's presense watching over you. Again I ain't full chrisitan yet but thats what i think it is.

Just as you believe in electrons and protons.
You can´t see them, but you can feel their effects.
Purpose of life? To love and to help other people and to love God above all and, in doing that to have a marvellous time!
