I just realized I left my wallet at place at my college were they serve ice cream and food.

It has my credit cards, debit card, all my id's and bonus cards and about $250 in cash (I had to take about out cause i'm going to a camp with my sports team for spring break)

I am going to see if anyone returned it in the morning.

Just curious...

honestly cause I will never know who anyone on yahoo is if you were to find this wallet would you return it...

do u think it will be returned or taken?

If I would have been the fortunate person to discover your wallet sitting somewhere, I would have security track you down to return it. In the past I would have been tempted to take the cash and leave the wallet behind or toss it in the trash, but when I had forgot my wallet at Sam's Club one time in the ladies restroom. I didn't realize that I forgot it until after I went to grab it out of the pocket that I usually kept it and it wasn't there. I heard a page for me to come to the returns desk and there was a lady that I saw coming into the restroom as I was leaving. I was the one that held the door as she was coming in. I was so overjoyed that I got it back and I saved myself a big lecture from my hubby! With two fussy boys, I really appreciated the lack of extra stress. I haven't even thought about being dishonest anything since!

Well personally I would return it, because I would hope that if I lost my wallet someone would turn it in for me. But there are a lot of horrible people out there that are just as willing to take everything in there and toss the wallet away. I'd say you have about a 50/50 chance. Next time hold onto your wallet a bit more tightly!

If I found a purse or wallet, I would return it to the college reception otherwise hand it to the police in worse case scenarios.

If you have no luck getting it back, then quickly cancel your credit cards and contact your college for new ID.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get it all back soon as possible. Good luck.

Here's an idea... maybe insert a tiny tracking device in your wallet so you can track it if you ever lose it again??

First of all, cancel ALL your credit and debit cards IMMEDIATELY, (Just in case.)

Now, I would return it. I think most people would. I also think there are good people who get in desperate situations and make mistakes, and there are, of course, the jerks... It's a turkey shoot, you have no way of knowing whether or not it will be returned. Try not to lose any sleep over it, things can be replaced. And if you never see it again, be glad that your run-in with crime was nonviolent. Best of luck to you, I hope everything is returned intact..

I hope the right person will find it.

Every often in these cases when the wallet is turned in the cash some how "disappears" before it gets to the owner.

If you do get your wallet back (I should do this to) tape on the inside flap in plain view a message that says if lost please call, and then leave your phone number.

I found a wallet in a New York City taxi cab once - I called the man up, had him come to my house, and I gave him the wallet back. He gave me a $ 40 dollar reward but even if he hadn't given me a cent I still would have given him his wallet back.

I would return it, who want's to get busted using your credit cards, especially at a college. Plus most people know how much of a pain it is to replace all of those items. It makes a huge difference where you left it....If it were at Wal-Mart i'd have to say you've seen it for the last time ;)

Because of the way I was brought up, I would turn it into the main desk, or somewhere. My guess is that college kids that are aching for money may take the cash, I dont know how many would actually take the whole thing.

I'd return it, it isn't mine. Whether I was in college or at a store or at work or anywhere else doesn't make any difference.
However I'm afraid there are lots of dishonest people out there :( So I'll keep my fingers crossed for you (well not literally or I couldn't type well :)), good luck, hope someone does return it!

I think it depends on how cute you are. If you are cute, you might get it back.

Seriously, it just depends on the person that finds it. I would have returned a wallet when I was college if I found it, but that is just me.
