It may not be illegal in Australia but that doesn't make her any less a child molester if she has sex with you.
You are too young for her right now. In five or ten years the seven years difference in age won't be as important but now it is. You are still a child even though you may not think you are. Also, if she is so mentally healthy why is it that she is 22 and never dated? Why is she 22 and now trying to pick up a 16 year old? She has many psychological and emotional problems that you will be stuck with if you pursue this relationship. I would suggest that, if you don't want to be involved in a colossal mess that you run, not walk, away from this woman as fast as you can.

I have to agree with a few others why has she not dated yet and she is in her mi her mid twenties. Then she hits on a 16 year old, which is legal in your country. Still , a wee bit young. Wait a few more years if it was meant to be it will be if not then time has taken it's course. Either way you are a winner staying the course. You are so young time is on your side.

I do not think she would have told you she would date you if she wasn't interested. Just be sweet to her and let her be the one to decide if she wants to take this to another level. You could ask her to go to lunch or a movie, to see if she wants to go someplace with you. But I really think 22 is a little to old. If you were 18 it wouldn't be so bad.

sounds like she is just flirting with u i wouldnt take it to serious. Did u ask her if she has a boyfriend or husband be careful, she might just be looking for a bit on the side. but if your happy an shes happy go for it.

not good idea to date a teacher. if you already have a gf, then you don't need to get romantic with this teacher anyway..
bottom line, it is unprofessional for a teacher to go after a student romantically. what if things don't work out? she might fail you in the class!

I don't think you should just surprise her and get in her face like tomorrow. I would wait till the next time y'all are in a playful time, and then ask her if she is serious. I don't think you should just jump in there are scare her if she is just playing. Then it would be very awkward.
