There are at least as many reasons to think so as to not. They really need to dig up those bones again and look for nail marks. It would make a strong case for all Christianity to move toward the Unitarian perspective. It would be ridiculous to ignore this finding.

The show was quite unsettling to say the least. It was staged in places which made me wonder a bit, but I don't think that the whole thing is fake. I would need to see a DNA sample of Jesus compared with Mary his mother and all the others there. I don't think that he was married. What is disturbing to me is if it is His tomb, what does that do to the idea of Resurrection? I know that God exist. But have I been following a lie for half of my life? It is said that in the end times many will fall away. Maybe this is that time.

And some parts don't make sense. When the women went to the tomb it was empty. So did he rise and then die again? Or rise and live out his life? That could not have happened, since everyone knew him, they would have killed him again. And His followers were in hiding after the Crucifixion. Something very profound would have had to happen for them to go around preaching about Him. I can not explain the tomb, but I don't think it was him. Maybe they made the box long before and when He didn't need it they used it for someone else and didn't take the name off?? It just doesn't make logical sense. And if Mary had her brother to take her in, why would Jesus have asked one of the disciples to take her as his mother? Too many things don't make sense. But I don't think they are lying about it all either. I just need more proof.

Nope! The Old testament name Joshua and New testament name Jesus are articulated and translated the same. Since Jesus was placed in a barrowed tomb and then rose from the grave, he could not have been found in one. Since he never married or had children, the point is mute. Media Sensationalism...wanna buy a book???

Does it matter? Christains seem to have a million ways to explain that it was not JC's tomb even though if it was in fact the tomb of JC. Just check out all the answers to this questions and you will see ;)

Not me. I think it's probably a hoax like that thing about finding James' tomb a few years ago.

I believe it can be. His message is still strong, even if he left his bones on earth. No one said Jesus was a supernatural being. He was a man and came to live like one.

it might have been Jesus' tomb but that was a common name at the time. It was not the tomb of Jesus Christ and if he were married it would not make any difference to His mission or His message.

Most Christians must deny it. Or admit that the word of God in the New Testament is not the word of God. They'll deny it. There was a lot of opposition to this program being aired on Saturday because the next day's collection basket would be empty.

His REAL tomb was known long long ago---------this new hype is merely a tool of satan to confound----confuse---and cause as many as he can in his limited time left to go astray and become a part of his kingdom. His time is growing quite short---he is getting quite frenzied now--- and thats why we are seeing right before our very eyes a heightened sense of expectation and fright.----------people know 'something' is up------just don't know what------indeed------the Bible does say:----and in that day-----mens hearts will fail them from fear.-----------how long before the trumpet sounds?

Even if it was it wouldn't matter, seeking the truth is just a minor inconvenience to those who believe it, and easily overlooked.
