Does science really answer the question, why is there something instead of nothing? This goes both ways....
Everything had to have started somewhere, right?

Hmmmmm, white Russian hugh? I haven't had one of those in a lonnnnggggggg time.
Oh, the question...well Jesus said..."Blessed is he who has not seen and believes..."
We have not seen and it's takes more faith than any atheist could ever muster to 'know' and not just believe and have faith in God.
When a person is the recipient of answered prayer, that's proof enough. Sickness and disease were conquered by Jesus..and by His stipes we are healed. Such as with myself. After becoming a Born Again Christian, (that's when I quit drinking alcoholic beverages that still sound good, but won't have) I had gone to a faith healing service. I had been very ill for over 13 years with high blood pressure, a severe nervous disorder, ulcers, a cardiac arrhythmia and a mitral valve prolapse. I had more pills than I could tolorate anymore and almost died from overmedication and my liver had taken it's toll.
Then, I went to a KCM (Kenneth Copeland Ministries) faith healing service, and when I left there, I went home, threw all my pills away and haven't been ill to this day. And that was 14 years ago when I went. So, not having to see a doctor is very, very special and I've been blessed to no end. FAITH, LOVE, BELIEF AND KNOWING that God IS alive and well, and He loves us and wants us to be healthy and live long lives. I thank HIM every day for that healing, which is as important as the healing itself. If we can't say Thank You to God for the blessings, and rebuke disbelief, then why would He want to do anymore?

Religion offers nothing but a nice warm fuzzy feeling for people with small minds . Those who can not accept their own death and are delusional enough to believe that they will be reunited with loved ones in an after life .

What we observe is reality. It has nothing to do with religion.
