Wow. I am impressed to read your feelings. Actually love happen anywhere, any person. It's not wrong. But 16years you are waiting for him. You are torturing yourself. Please don't do this. You love him, i have no objection but live your life. Ok.

No. Being in love with someone who is married, BY DEFINITION, cannot be wrong. Love is a feeling, or really a set of feelings. Unless you are not human (Vulcan, perhaps? Andriod?), you do not have the luxury of controlling who you fall in love with. You really can't do much about the feelings. Of course, you CAN (and in fact, you have) control whether you ACT upon your feelings, but that is a different question.

I suffered as you did for years. I'm so sorry; I know what torture it is.

Ummmm its not wrong until you do something that would cross the line. If you was married you wouldnt want some else crossin the line. But you need to realize that he is married and you should let it go because most of the time married man choose thir wife before their mistress.

So, is your question how to get over him, how to get him to commit to you, how to get him to do anything? Or are you just looking for sympathy that you have a bf who doesn't know he has a gf? Sorry but that's the way the question strikes me. Have you really gone 16 years without ever having another relationship because you love this guy so much? Look inside yourself and see what you find. Are you there? Do you love yourself. You are being true to yourself and I acknowledge you for that. Can you celebrate yourself for being honorable? You should. But learn to love yourself and accept yourself and you will feel more comfortable with your feelings toward him. Live your own life...and if this is the way you want to live it, that's okay. If you want to live your life differently, do it.
