Ok.........I met this guy through MySpace. When we first started talking (only online) his status said "Single". We never hung out and only talked every once in a while.. so when his status changed to "In a Relationship" I didn't care or think much of it.
So.... we randomly decided to meet up not too long ago and we hit it off. I didn't want to ask about the relationship thing since I didn't to look obsessive or anything since I just met him and didn't know how he felt about me..
Now it's really bothering me.. I dont know how to bring it up without sounding dumb.. because you know when someone says something about MySpace in real life everyone laughs or whatever.
Also, if this helps, on his top friends there are a bunch of people and I am the 2nd girl.
Thanks anyone for your SERIOUS answers! Sorry this is dumb.. but I'm trying to figure it out!!

ALSO the other girl is far away... and I've met his friends, brothers, etc. and they've all seen us together and act like everythings fine.
If they knew he had a GF wouldn't they act a little different ?????

I met this guy on myspace once. Worked on a nearby marine base, VERY cute! Made me his #1 friend... left a hundred messages and comments a day... Went out a few times, told him I wasn't gonna give it up and then I never heard back from him. He changed his page... deleted all his friends and started over again... I have seen him in the area on myspace using 4 different names... Adam, Cordez, Sam... ect... you gotta be real careful. People are sooo crazy!

Just ask him if he's in a relationship. The 1st girl on his friends list is probably his best friend. Myspace is soo stupid, the top 8 list just makes people jump to many different conclusions. I hate how myspace makes you rank your friends.

Perhaps it is best to confront him. Just tell him about what you saw and ask him about it. If you guys are meant to be with one another, you will be with one another. But talk to each other about it. Maybe it's nothing. Maybe he was warding off other women for you! ;)
Best to ask him so you don't keep that little chip on your shoulder. And plus that will set a foundation of openess with one another for the rest of your relationship as well.
And don't be ashamed. Love is love, whether you are next door to each other or miles away over net.

Maybe he's a super clingy guy that moves really fast. It's possible that YOU are the person he is referring to when he claims he is in a relationship.
Or maybe he just accidently hit the wrong button one day.
Or maybe he dates multitiple people.
The best way to find out is to bring the subject up in conversation and ask him.

umm ya rather embarrassing too, what u could desire to do is real enjoying dumb myspace video games ull get caught everytime. tell the girl that u have been tring to make ur lady pal jealous and mandatory a exceedingly face so u used hers, shell definitly recover from then

maybe he thinks that you guys are in a relationship..dee dee dee...lol...just a thought...ask him if you should put that you are in a relationship with him...idk..don't worry about it...people do dumb things and they don't even realize it..
