My boyfriend said to me today that, "Your Life doesn't have to completely revolve around me." I do agree with his statement, no one should focus all their time on one person and if they do then who will they have to fall back on? Well anyway my question is how do I show him that I have a life beyond him? I work full-time as a nurse and talk to him about that a lot. I have friends but don't hang out with them a lot. When I have any free time I make him the priority and will hang with him before I do anything else. Any Advice?

Hang out with your friends more. It is kind of annoying when a girl wants to spend all her time with you. If you spend less time with him, he will also treat you better and respect your time together a lot more.

Give him some space. When doing this take yourself along to a spa and have a massage or a facial, join a gym and find some other activities where you can spend time and have some fun without him. When he hasn't got you around all the time he might realise what he is missing.

Hi dear,
your story is exactly like mine.
What you have to do is that you guys mut compromise and understand each other as long sa you do that you have more chances to stay or stick to each other.
Just ask your mate does he love you? most probably the answer you will get is YES but make sure that he doesnt end up in cheating on you dear.
take care
cheers

Well, you should have an "alone time"... meaning, devote a time which you'll spend alone so that you can communicate with your self... lets say, shop alone, or travel to some distant place alone or with your friends. Through this, you'll be able to show your bf that your world doesn't revolve around him.

You have riends, then start making them a priority and then c what he says. seriously c what happens. Beside those other relationships w/your friends are healthy to keep in the long run.
