I have the same problem with Rowdy my dog. I taught him to stay and he obeyed with total alacrity. In fact, it has been 23 years since he moved. He doesn't even touch his food or water. Do you think I have the same problem with my beloved dog?
HIs eyes have been looking kind of glassy looking, but the taxidermist said that's normal. Wait, taxidermist? AAAAAHHHH!

Wow, that's a long time to be in one spot. Did you just notice that your cat hasn't moved for a month? A little slow on the trigger I'd say. It might be a good idea to dispose of it's body some day soon, don't ya think?

I'm pretty sure your cat would have begun to decompose or actually become 50-75% decomposed at this point. So put some gloves on and put it in the trash or if you really love it, bury it outside.

Hopefully your cat is not a taxidermy cat in which it should be in the came place since valentine's day since it has been dead and stuffed by a taxidermist.

Okay Howie, What is wrong with you!!! Didn't you love your cat??? You should of buried your cat as soon as you found him or her. Don't you have a heart??? Your poor cat deserves to have a decency burial and not just left there like a piece of garbage. Someone really need to kick your A S S up to your shoulders. Please never get another cat ever.

put a mirror under it's nose and see if there is any breath coming out. If not, then I guess you are right, it's dead. Hasn't it started to smell yet? I would think that there would be signs that the cat was dead. No trips to the cat litter, no trips to the food dish.
Guess it's time to get it stuffed if you like the way it looks sitting there. It will keep it from beginning to smell and decay.

Hello. I don't mean to sound like a jerk but your question sounds a bit dim. It also sounds like you don't pay attention to your cat enough. I'm not trying to sound rude but I really don't see how you can't tell. But there is one thing. Cat's toward the end of their lives tend to stop eating, moving, and being social. I am really really not trying to insult you in the earlier part of this answer.

If you loved this cat bury her in the back yard. Doesnt take much space. Bury her and go on with your life .. There will be others to take its place. I have buried numerous kitties in my back yard. Some i didnt know but brought them here in my own back yard. Have some compassion to your kittie. He or she is gone so do your part and bury that precious cat. Dint hang on to the past but look forward to a new beginning with a new kittie.OK?

Well you have definitely saved yourself some money on kitty food, kitty litter, and going to the Kitty Vet... I say just keep the kitty there (unless it smells), it could be a cool trick to show your friends and family, "look, my kitty can play dead!"

After a month, the maggots on it should be a clue. :P
As a former vet tech, I can assure you you'll notice that smell within hours of death and depending on the temperature, sure signs of it decomposing within hours to days.
So if it's truly been a month, I strongly suggest you visit a doctor for yourself to get your vision and sense of smell checked.

Your cat probably has died. Was it old? I'm just trying to figure out why it took you so long to come to this conclusion.
