Sam Harris supposedly read some accounts of a psychologist that suggest reincarnation based on some case studies. Statistically speaking he says that the studies would be unlikely to be coincidental. He does NOT accept reincarnation, but he is open to the possibility. I think it is reasonable because nobody knows what happens after death.

i'm pretty sure he studied eastern spirituality, so it wouldn't surprise me. But the point is ending irrational faith that harms more than helps, not the victory of atheism. buddhists don't kill people (except the ones that immolate themselves), so they're cool in my book.

OH. MY. GODS.

WHY DOES IT MATTER?!
Why on the Gods' green earth does it even matter?
Does it make him less of a person?
Did it horribly disfigure him?
Has he caught some new disease from it?
Has it made him suicidal?
Is he still alive, breathing, and doing well?
Yes?
THEN SHUT IT.
I'm getting REALLY TIRED of all the bigotry on this damned website.
