Seems like a big trick to me . To claim you died on a cross when you did not die at all . It is impossible for God to die .
SO whats up with this death on the cross thing .

Jafo, Jesus was God made flesh. He died an agonizing death on the cross....just like the other humans, the thieves, who were crucified at the same time. But being God's son, His blood washes clean all who believe. And those who believe in Him, though they also die a human death...will rise again, just as He did.

Here is a whooper of an answer.

Jesus did die on the cross for all mans sins, in order to have salvation from sin's penalty one needs to receive and follow Jesus.

God has a threefold nature

God the Father - God the Son - God the Holy Spirit

God sent His Son Jesus to pay the penalty for our sin - He rose from the dead three days later. This cross thing is how we are brought into a right relationship with God. We are all born with a sin nature and only through accepting the payment that Jesus made when He shed His blood on the cross do we enter into a right relationship with God and are given eternal life with Him in heaven.

It is through faith in and following Jesus that we are reconciled to the Father. When one receives this salvation from Jesus the Holy Spirit dwells with them.

This is a supernatural thing. God's ways are above our ways.

We all have what is considered a "God consciousness" we all at some level realize that there is "something" greater than ourselves that created us and the world around us. And that something is the God of the bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, through whom all the nations of the world would be blessed.

I hope this helps answer your question. If you have other questions along this line feel free to email me.

Haven't you asked this before? Well, no matter.

You and pretty much everyone seem to keep assuming that death is the end. If there is such a thing as an eternal soul, then it isn't. It's just a transition. What is so difficult about believing that God could inform a human body, undergo the pain of separation and death and the subsequent transition, and still be God? If death involved a termination of existence, then I'd agree with you that there was a problem. If the story is true, however, then there is no termination and hence no problem.

Jesus was God in human form - and we, as humans, die.
Yes, Jesus did die - and all creation groaned!

The wonder of it all was that three days later, He arose from the grave, no matter what the Discovery Channel says tonight.

The location of Jesus' tomb has been known for almost 2,000
years - and I have been inside it - He is not there!
It is about 150 yards from Golgotha - the place of the cross -
where He was crucified - the most cruel death of that day.

When the soldier's spear pierced His side - He was already dead -
as the Scriptures say - blood and water came out of the wound -
the blood was already separating components.

This was the ultimate blood sacrifice for sin - paid in full!

God the Father did not die.
God the Son did.

What's up was a miracle for us.

The Bible says Jesus was God that "became flesh" and made his dwelling among us. While on earth, Jesus didn't have His Godly characteristics - His Glory was gone. Everything he did on this earth he did as a human being. He used power from God through prayer - the very same power we still have today.

So when Jesus died on the cross, He dies His earthly death - Hid flesh was dead. God "raised" Him from the dead to conquer sin forever. The Bible says Jesus was lifted up to receive His Glory. In other words, He was returned to His rightful spot in Heaven.

I hope that all makes sense. It's a very hard subject to discuss and comprehend. Feel free to contact me if you want to know more.

Be blessed!!

Hope this gives you some answer...

Matthew 26:

62Then the high priest stood up and said to Jesus, "Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?" 63 But Jesus remained silent.
The high priest said to him, "I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ,[e] the Son of God."

64"Yes, it is as you say," Jesus replied. "But I say to all of you: In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven."

Jesus was fully human and died a human death on the Cross, but He was also fully God and therefore Resurrected on the third day.

1. Jesus did NOT die on a cross
2. Jesus is NOT God

Jesus did not die on a cross, he died on a torture stake.
Hebrews 12:2 - Jesus for the joy that was set before him he endured a torture STAKE
Mark 15:32 - Let the christ the king of isareal now come down off the TORTURE STAKE.....

deut 6:4 Jehovah is one
Mark 10:18 Jesus said to him "Why do you call me good NOBODY IS GOOD EXCEPT ONEGOD"

so that right their proves that these 2 teachings ar false

Jesus died on the cross and then descended into the dead/into Hell. (depends on interpretation) After 3 days, he rose into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God (Our Father), until He comes again to judge the living and the dead.

Hope that helps! =)

Well according to Islam, Jesus is not dead yet. He is still alive, living along side with God in heaven. He will descent to earth in the near end of time to help the believers from the non believers (anti-christ/atheist). He will rule the earth for 40 years before he will pass and that is when the real armageddon is coming.
And the one in the cross thats not him, thats the person that wanted Jesus dead so much. God rescue Jesus and bring him to heaven and replace him with that man that wanted him dead. Sorry guys, it is in the Quran.
