i have someone else now someone nice , why do i think about him? he was a jerk. took me for granted....

Well,,,of course you are going to think about him. After all you went with him for 10 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You just don't forget someone that easy even if he is a jerk. And yes, he probably thinks about you also.

He might think about you, but you shouldn't worry about if he thinks about you or not; these are your feelings we are talking about.
You probably think about him for sentimental reasons only. Like you think about the one time he was nice to you or your first date, etc. It might be because he was your first or because he knew you well, but either way, it takes time to get over him. They say it takes 1/5 the time you know someone to get over them. This means you'll need 2 years to get over the guy almost completely. Stick it out.

You think about him because you're still not over him... Move on girl, in order for you to move on, remove all the things that remind you of him, try to occupy yourself with something else and just focus with your present relationship... and i know its hard but maybe its time for you to forgive him... the angst you have in your heart makes it hard for you to move on and get on with your life...
Does he think about you? well... maybe sometimes... you've been together for 10yrs and its impossible for him not to remember you eventhough he was a jerk...
