My best friend (for a few years) and I have recently fallen head over heels for each other - we were not expecting this at all - we truly care and adore each other but we decided that right now is not a good time in our lives to have that serious relationships we long from each other. He's been STRESSED with financial/schoo/work - as for me too but we're still great friends. For as long as I've known him, he's ALWAYS been the guy i go to whenever weird guys would always hit on me.

So because of recent events (wanting to move on and build more on our friendship), i said, "heeey dude, there's this dude that's been interested in me but i think he's nasty. awww this is sooo cute! Everything's going to be normal again - alot of guys will hit on me and you'll be the guy, my best friend i always go to so you can rescue me! and maybe in a few years i might just fall in love with you all over again..."

he said, "uhh yeah..."
sounded kinda bummed...

does he still like me?

Hi Girl!!! I guess u are really in for too much! HE wanna break but it seem that u can't let it go..

It is disheartening to see you so confused..

IT DOESN'T MATTER WHETHER HE LIKE YOU OR NOT!

IT IS NOW THAT YOU LIKE HIM SO MUCH!
IT IS ABOUT TIME U MAKE A CLEAN BREAK AND TELL HIM YOUR HEART!

Take Care!

My guess is that he still loves you, but he's crushed. If you fell in love with someone and they said "Yeah, I love you too but I'd really like to sleep with someone else first and you can be there as my backup plan", how would you feel? I don't imagine that you would feel all that great about it and, considering that's how he's going to take it, he probably doesn't feel all that good about it either. You two need to sit down and really decide if you love each other or not. If you do, then school/financial difficulties won't stop you. People who really love each other don't let anything stand in their way when it comes to having a truly meaningful relationship. Good luck, I hope it all goes well.

he still likes you, but he wants a deeper relationship. if you do not, then it's really not fair to string him along as your safety net with a mere "maybe i'll fall in love with you again"
