I've been searching google for you for an exact answer, and I can't find a match. I suggest you look at your owners manual, I'm assuming this is your truck, and in the back you'll find the specifications for your vehicle, including how much oil it needs. You can also open the hood and look underneath for a sticker which might indicate how much oil you need.

most cars and trucks take between 5 and 6 quarts. i usually have a half quart left. the best value is to get the huge jug of oil and just fill until the dip stick says it has enough oil. then put the jug to the side and save it till next time you change your oil. it won't go bad

because of the redesigned oil pan, now with a reserve tank, it takes 6.5 quarts with the oil filter. 6.25 qts without the filter.

its been a while but id do 4.5 qts and then check it. There are slight differences that make it either 4.5 or 5.5
