Yes, but do not listen music and watch TV it if you cannot serve God. You know your heart.

Who says you can't?? There are no "rules" about that in the Bible.
The only thing that would even make you want to stop would be your own feelings...
Real Christianity is loving God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. That doesn't mean that everything you do has to be "Christian" or you are messing up. Even Christ spent the majority of His time around people who weren't religious. The key is: Are you doing it for yourself or for God? Meaning, how will it help make you a better person? It can if your heart is in the right place. If your heart is off, then even doing "Christian" things will be negative.
But if you're conscious is getting in the way, that might be a sign that your heart is not right.
I pray you don't worry about "nitpickers" and instead follow God!
Be blessed!

I think praying to God will help you determine the answer. If I find myself watching a movie or listening to music that I feel is in direct opposition to God's will for my life, I will turn it off. Some movies and some music have very positive messages but may not be directly inspired by someone who is following God's will in their lives. I don't think these are off-limits as long as you prayed about what kind of movies and music you will have imprinted on your soul.

Yes, No Angel Came, you can. A point that needs to be made here, if there is no direct "thou shalt not", then there is no sin. How you allow what you see or hear affect you becomes your responsibility. If you allow it to lead you away from God, then it is a choice you made, and allowed the result to happen. Then you would most likely be in sin. That said, having a Ham sandwich could also be called sinful. Lets not nit pick, just stay with the precepts of the Bible. If it doesn't say that shalt not go see a Harry Potter movie, then there is no sin. This should help you out.

I know some very religious people and they still watch TV and Movies. It's in the eye of the beholder as to how strict you wish to be as far as worshiping God is concerned. It's up to you.

Lyrics are not the in reality issue that makes music sinful. do no longer be deceived. devil spends more suitable time contained in the church than everywhere else. Christian music is the most deceiving. a minimum of with secular music, it truly is glaring. no longer something to hide. yet Christian music praises "God" it truly is truly hail to devil himself. using vanity and ego pushed lyrics isn't godly habit. there is not any humility or modesty in cutting-part music. making a music hymns became between the only some reliable kinds of "music" for celebrating God. modern music spawned from evil. enable me inform you, i understand this for particular. i'm 40 years previous. I spent the first 30 years of my existence dreaming of being a rock well-known man or woman, worshipping each and each of the idols. I even made it to the massive degree at 19 and traveled the states. It took truly some reports and soreness for me to discover my way. and that i even "loved" 90s modern christian music. yet those human beings are not any diverse than atheists. a lot of them do not understand God and in reality use Christianity to promote themselves. they are satanic. Amy grant, Michael W Smith, etc. they are all IDOLS. They self promote and are selfish. they have even accomplished drugs even as being artists. it truly is the nature of the beast to promote deception. and that is what the well-known do. so that you've heard me. in case you'll bask in sinful music, stay some distance remote from Christian music because we could continuously in no way associate God with such vanity. It creates a pretend photo of Him. and prefer the e book has informed us, all those who stay existence now will lose it later. That rather a lot includes each and each of the idols.

Of course, I am a huge rock fan, watch TV (time permitting), and any sort of movie (except horror, I just don't like it), and am still an extremely faithful person.

you can but you want to be careful
just think of it this way, I am not nit picking you, I am suggesting this:
with each secular song and each tv show and movie that you decide to watch, how comfortable would you be if Jesus was sitting with you listening or watching - if you would be ashamed to do any of this with Jesus sitting with you, then don't do it.
He is with you if you are truly saved

Yes you can. But just know that everything that's OK to do is not best for you to do. I watch t.v., listen to about 99.9% Christian music, and that works for me. Listen to your heart and you will know when you're doing something that you need to stop.
