For French 3, I'm doing a project on a french-speaking country I picked out. In this case, I picked Belgium, and as part of the assignment, I'm supposed to discuss what type of clothing to wear on a vacation in Feb and in July there. What is the weather like in both Feb. and July? And what should tourists wear when going there?

First you should make a difference between the southern part of the country "Les Ardennes" and the northern. "Le plat pays".The south is about 4 to 5ºC colder.
But what should you wear : in winter what you would wear if you visited Quebec, but a Quebec 15 to 20º C warmer!
In summer: what you would wear when visiting Toronto. In between it can be very grey with weeks of cold drizzle so do not forget rain gear.
