Most kids will like simple mazes at that age. I found that before age 3.5 most kids cannot draw lines like that, so 4 would be the EARLIEST to do a little simple maze. At 9-10 most kids like them a lot, but aren't willing to work too hard on them. If they can't find the answer immediately, most kids will not keep trying; they will say it is too hard and set it aside. There are a few that really enjoy the challenge of a complicated maze. The trick to mazes is just to keep trying till you get it, so only a persistent child can get the hard ones.

In my experience working with preschoolers and kindergarteners, the 3 year olds are interested, but usually end up “scribbling” on it because they really cannot grasp the concepts of a maze. The 4 year olds are interested, but usually cannot finish without support. The 5 year olds love them! Some will sit and do maze after maze, with little or no support. By 6, most children master the idea of a maze and have a high interest in them. For some reason, in my classroom, the boys tend to be more interested in doing the mazes than the girls.

I would say it really depends on the child.

But from my personal experience, my son started simple mazes at age 5 and my daughter started them just before she turned 4.
