I was wondering, since they are so bright and hot, maybe I could lay under them for a while and get a tan indoors, instead of outside under the sun. Is this possible?

I don't think so because they don't have any uv rays like the sun or tanning booth do.

Nope. But you can use that new Jergens stuff. That's what I use. Get medium skin tone because the other ones are dumb and it either dosnt work or is too dark and apply body butter before putting it on. and wash your hands after. Getting a fake tan is alott of work.
Good Luck with the Lamp! :)

The only ting you will be getting with these halogen lamps are uneven pigmentation spots on ur face. Thats why we (beauticians) say please if u have halogen lamps, wear sunblock. This is no joke. If u want an even skin tone.
