This is my last answer for the day my friend, as my ego is growing tired.
"I" am not coming to know, "I" am the truth. What's to know...
Knowing cannot know itself....

The truth seems to be in the being not in the knowing and especially not in the doing. The truth for me (and that is all that really matters) means letting go of the self I've come to know and to continuously identify with self that grows greater in awareness. I must keep self flowing and never build a damn.

Veda means knowledge. Vetti veda vida jnane, the word Veda comes from vid-dhatu, to know. There are different kinds of knowledge, material knowledge and spiritual knowledge given in the Vedas. All kinds of knowledge can get be perfectly obtained from the Vedas. There are different branches of Veda, viz., Dhanur-veda, Ayur-veda, Rg-veda, Sama-veda, Yajur Veda, Jyotir Veda etc. . .
Ultimate knowledge is to know God. Even the Holy Bible and Quran also gives knowledge about God, to a certain class of men, at particular time and place. Therefore Bible and Quran are also part of Veda since Veda literally means knowledge.
With the birth of Lord Jesus Christ around 2000 years, Christianity began and Bible was written. With the birth of Prophet Mohammed(pbuh) around 1300 years back the Holy Al' Quran came in to existence. Whereas Vedas are eternally existing and comes down in the form of aural reception through the chain of Parampara (disciplic succession). Because Veda comes by way of aural reception it is also called as Sruti (Hearing).
Lord Sri Krishna says in Bhagavad-gita(15.15), "I am seated in everyone's heart, and from Me come remembrance, knowledge and forgetfulness. By all the Vedas, I am to be known. Indeed, I am the compiler of Vedanta, and I am the knower of the Vedas."
So if one knows Krishna one knows the truth.

Hmmm...how am I coming to know the truth?
Through daily interaction with a wide swath of the local population, I'm coming to learn a lot about human nature.
Through experience, I'm learning a lot about myself.
I don't know if your "truth" and my "truth" are the same thing, but I am learning some truths in life.

The way I did it was I went to http://www.imaginarysociety.us/two.html
and I sang a song and read a few verses from Finnegans Wake by James Joyce,
and then I looked up the lyrics to Someone Left My Cake Out In The Rain, and sang that one too, me and my wife.
The truth is a wonderful thing, and we applaud you for mentioning it in your question.

Through the Spirit of Truth, who lives in me and will be with me forever; and through the Word of Truth, which I set before my eyes daily, and meditate on day and night; and by obedience to the same.

The more I search about God the more religious I got. I once use to be an antsiest but I always had doubt on how we humans came to what we are now, I know deep in my heart that God has created us and send Jesus for our sins and we as humans did not evolve from some monkeys. God Bless

Dont' expect many to answer? That's a little arrogant, don't you think?
This is why I have so much trouble finding faith. I don't want to turn into what I see in so many on here.

I know the truth with absolutely certainty...that there is only ONE god (not 3), and that the prophet Muhammad (pbuh), was His last and final messenger. Everything in the Qur'an is totally from God Himself, as He protected it (it has never been changed)! What better source can we find for guidance?
