This is a product that supposedly recieves OTA digital signals and allows you to watch TV on your laptop /desktop.
I just wanted to know if this product will work even if you live in the middle of NYC and are surrounded by skyscrapers. Someone said that OTA digital signal reception might be tricky unless you live in a wide open area but saw thiis product on at nearby stores. I should've asked someone working there but kept missing chances. Any idea? Thank you in advance for your comments and suggestions.

Receiving OTA signals in a city is a problem no matter what is receiving them. The main problem is not signal strength (you are probably not far from the antenna), but reflections from buildings causing multiple signals to arrive at the antenna at slightly different times, causing signal distortion. Often it is possible to find a "sweet spot" for a particular station, so if you can move the receiver around you may be able to find a spot that gives good reception. You should be able to get the unit on a trial basis and return it if it doesn't work; there is really no other way to find out.

Thats what they are gonna mass industry while the analog sign is wiped out. The goverment is gonna provide out coupons so it is going to easily cost like 30 money. A ingredient of the analog sign would be committed to emergencey brodcast. i think of something is gonna used for cellular telephones and different issues.
