We'd be more bonded with our fellow man, and would certainly do something about all the starving people in the world. That's a very humanist argument, and a good one :)

That would be great. If the whole of humanity would put as much energy into conservation, environmentalism, and world hunger, as they do into the church collections plate, then there would be many poorer churches, and a much richer world.

im not siding with anyone on this, but i am not sure there is a god or higher being, but earth is a place where you must have faith in yourself and at times, you are all you can rely on. but i do believe there is a life after death and will prepare for it as i have prepared for my life.

to have abundance, you must create abundance for those around you.
i must add that if we broadened this idea to the whole world and not just to our chapel, or church then things could be alot better

they would profit nobody and no thing. God has said the flesh profit nothing. In the book of Psalms it say that man in his best estate is nothing but vanity. Anything apart from God is of no profit
