Me and my girl have been together for almost 8 years.. we don't live with each other.. well recently, she will bring her and her son over to my house at night.. the thing is, she's been putting a lot of makeup and doing her hair to come over my house and go to bed.. i asked her about it and she said she "always been like that, i don't leave the house without makeup." Well thats true but I NEVER seen her do her hair and makeup before coming over to my house to go to bed.She said she wouldn't do it if we were sleeping at her house.
What do you think about this??

Well she feels more comfortable in her own home. She might be using her hair and makeup as a mask to cover how uncomfortable she really is even if she doesn't realize it. If you have been together for 8 years you might want to consider moving in together. That is a ridiculously long time to be together without moving up in the relationship. You don't have to get married, but still if you love this woman you would want to be around her for as long as possible and might want to consider moving in with each other.

probably trying to impress you, or add some spice into the relationship. If that's not the case, then maybe she's just trying a new beauty routine. I go through periods of time, where I absolutely have to look perfect when I leave the house. I do it for a few weeks/months and then one day I get bored of all the time and energy it takes and go more casual. It's a women thing.
The bigger question here is why you aren't married or why you aren't living together after 8 years.
Maybe, she's trying to show you, she has the ability to find someone else who will marry her.

some girls just feel the need to do their make up before they leave the house...there's nothing more than that. Some guys may think that she's putting on make up to impress some other guy, but if anything, she' s doing it to look nice for her man. There's nothing to worry about.

I'd think that she's a lunatic with makeup on.. I guess she is not comfortable letting you see her without the makeup and she is just like "wearing a mask" to protect her looks.
So if it bothers you, ask her why and maybe both of you can compromise something?

i dont really think it mean anything if this is something that she
does all the time. i would not worry about it. but after 8 years
together you should already know the answer to the question.
so if you dont ask her. what going on. maybe she looking for]
more from you.
