How do you get Middletown, by Red Bank in New Jersey from New York without a car?

Take NJ Transit Train from Middletown Station (1 Railroad Ave. & Church St., 1/4 mile west of Kings Hwy.) to NY Penn Station Between 32 & 34th Street, Between 7th & 8th Ave)

Why? Why would you want to leave the center of the universe (New York) for the the toilet of the north east (New Jersey). But if you have to you can catch a bus at the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
