I want to know what I can do for my daughters first birthday. I know there is probally not that much that I can do but I will have her and a friend of hers who is 4 days younger and a 6 year old,3 yr old, 2yr old at the party. What are some fun games I could have for so that the older kids dont get bored? I only have one Idea which is to read a princess book since the theme is princess! Please help I dont want the older kids getting bored and getting into things. I want to keep them busy and also be able to have a fun time

since it is princess themed have a costume party. dress everyone in princess clothes. have tea party. watch princess movies. there is all kinds of things to do with little princesses running around. just make sure everyone feels special. sometimes with birthdays younger children like that could get jealous of the birthday person. try party favors.

You could have them decorate their own cupcakes, and maybe have them make homemade pizzas. You could have different decorations available in the princess theme. Also, you could have them make foamy princess crowns using craft supplies. The older kids could decorate them with more glitter and sparkly stuff while the younger kids just wear the crowns plain- or have the older kids help the younger ones.
the first birthday is fun since it's usually a casual party hosted by the parents and adults mainly for pictures since the child doesn't really know what's going on anyway. The adults also liked it since they got to eat too.

BUBBLES! Can't have a princess party without bubbles everywhere...! Look for the non-spill kind in the little tumblers if you are having the party indoors.... If you are creative you can create your own version of "pin the tail on the donkey" by making a game called, "pin the crown on the princess"... use large craft paper and make a girl on the wall and a paper crown, etc.... At my daughters 1st bday they ended up watching a short video she had gotten for her bday...... Look for a short princess themed video or maybe you already have one...? Also the princess coloring pages are a good idea and inexpensive way to keep the kids occupied.... Look on the Internet for free coloring pages and then search for princess themed ones...! Good luck!

puppet show, bean bag toss, ( in buckets) Hot potato, pass the bottle kids pass a empty two liter with their feet they just have fun trying. Put Paper out and let the kids color or paint just make sure its a huge piece of paper, play blues clues hide clues to tell kids where to go next there are a lot of things you can do.

maybe you could play duck duck goose? and pin the tail on the donkey (of course u'll need some grown up assistance for those games) i went to a one year party yesterday, but there werent really younger kids at the party, i hoped ive helped, good luck and happy birthday to ur daughter

get a pinata everyone loves that.. and finger painting on the wall. get that role of paper u can tape to the wall and give them prizes for the best picture. ofcoarse everyone will get a little treat. have fun

have them make princess birthday cards for her. you can go to disney.com and make printable cards to color. that would keep them busy long enough for you to get things sorted out. then you can save them for when she gets older. or their cards could be used as the thank you card, that would be good too.

arts and crafts for the older kids..
and swimming in a pool (blow up) for everyone.
u can also have water balloon fun ..
and or u can hire a clown for one hour.. that works for all ages
