Uh, no they don't have more things to worry about. It got me sick how they just SHUT the whole thing down just because they wanted to...without any reason. It got me sick how they just have apartments right on top of tombs without any question about HISTORICAL FACTS.

That tomb BELONGS TO THE WORLD...not just Israel. There is historical meaning with that site and should not be ignored. If you can't accept that it isn't Jesus's bones because of "LACK OF EVIDENCE" then DO the evidence and don't just cover it up like you did the past 27 years.

Just because you may not like what you may learn is not a reason to ignore historical facts that can be proven.

All I can say is that there are many HYPOCRITES who refuse to do the science because they may not like what they learn.

That "Study" was done over 16 years AFTER the fact. They would really remember a dig after 16 years that they discounted as a nobody.

WHY wont they locate the bones and do DNA along with comparing what was found in the tomb boxes? WHY was the tomb boxes vacuumed out? What purpose was there to do that? Why not look at what inscription on the wall and what it says? Why not study the tomb...other than doing a rush of 3 days to escevete(sp) it like what was done in 1980?

A total of THREE days is not studying the site. There were a total of THREE archiologists over a weekend (where I am sure that was not where they wanted to be) looking at the site. Then they finally did a report SIXTEEN years after the fact. They need to seriously look at the evidence and do DNA testing of all of those boxes as well as the James box and the proof that it is Jesus's brother..you could match it up with Jesus's DNA that they now have.

SI...I don't know what you are talking about, but it isn't about Jesus's tomb. The tomb that I am talking about was found in 1980 and only had 10 boxes found there.

They HAVE done research. The archaeologist who was the main studier of the site wrote his official report, and said that it was not the tomb of Jesus.
Prof. Amos Kloner, the Jerusalem District archeologist who officially oversaw the work at the tomb in 1980 and has published detailed findings on its contents, on Saturday night dismissed the claims. "It makes a great story for a TV film," he told The Jerusalem Post. "But it's impossible. It's nonsense." “"They just want to get money for it,"
Kloner said the names found on the ossuaries were common, and the fact that such apparently resonant names had been found together was of no significance. He added that "Jesus son of Joseph" inscriptions had been found on several other ossuaries over the years."There is no likelihood that Jesus and his relatives had a family tomb," Kloner said. "They were a Galilee family with no ties in Jerusalem. The Talpiot tomb belonged to a middle-class family from the 1st century CE."

first off jews have told lies about jesus and who is and was since his time here on earth . this is stated clearly in the bible.
the tomb you refer to was found in 1986 many great science and religious people respected ones from all over the planet went there saw what it said and at that time found no proof no reason to even think this is jesus christs tomb. it is a tomb. it is a tomb that holds more then 1000 people . this was how it was done then . aunts uncles brothers sisters wifes all in the one hole pr grave. the stone says jesus son of mary . and it says jesus place of living . jesus was refered to all his life as jesus of nazareth . the tomb does not say that. i forget where this jesus was from but not there.
in north america we dont use the name jesus as a a name for children . but in mexico and southern america and the middle east this is done and has been done for a great long time.
if you had a telephone book of mexico with first names in it you would see jesus listed 1000000 of times.
the grave is not that of jesus christ. he is not in a grave. period
his body is in heaven he is in heaven this is what christain faith is all about there was an empty grave. this is what the bible makes clear . the jews paid money to people to lie and tell people that in the night followers of jesus came paid the gaurd and removed the body. the bible tells us the jews do this to this day
that is word for word from the holy bible.
remember to satan is real and he sure is smart and loves to trick many to think jesus was not real. keep all of this in mind.

You know if you had a perfect DNA structure to clone from there on out, you could make a killing in pharmaceuticals and bio engineering. Fact remains, this isn't Jesus tomb and God wouldn't allow his body to stay in place to be manipulated like Satan wanted to do with Moses.

Why should they?

Most Israelis don't care one way or the other about it. Why should their government spend any of their taxpayer's sheckels to help us Christians find out something that they, themselves don't even begin to care about?

Further, the more speculation there is about it, the more we Christians want to take up pilgrimages to the Holy Land, which means that we wind up increasing their taxational revenues by our tourism.

If they helped find out that Christianity is a hoax, then all those Christian pilgrimage tourist revenues will go away and adversely effect their economy. Why would they want to do that?

Israeli, American and British (and I'm sure other) archaeologists did the research 25+ years ago. There is no way of knowing who those individuals were other than that it was likely a first century AD family.

That's a land mine best left ALONE. No matter WHAT results they come up with, someone is going to be very unhappy.

The Israeli government doesn't have any real reason to examine them for a connection to a new testament that they have no interest in as jews.
