My cat loves to play with balls... the cloth kind with catnip on the inside. She actually plays fetch with them. Anyone have a cat that plays fetch? I swear she thinks she is a dog. :)

my cats used to hang over the stairs and id throw a ball up and theyd catch it or swat it like in baseball. my cats love FLASHLIGHTS point it in a direction and theyre off. we also give them balls, rolled up paper (like a ball) milk caps that they cant swallow or coke ones. they have strings attached to doorknobs too. we have fake mice all around the house. but theyre most favorite "toy" is splashing running water around the sink.

Hello. Actually yes. One of my cats will fetch a ball. My other cats enjoy playing with a toy fish, a scratching plank. Other than that if you drop a small pile of catnip on the floor then they will roll around in that in a very funny display.

My cat will kinda play fetch too. He retrieves when I throw and brings it back almost to my hand. His favorite though is a wand like thing that has a pom pom on the end. But his mouses are a very close second. You should check out catchannel.com you can build your cat his/her own page and visit other kitties. They get email from other cats :)

Anything that is free. Or the dogs. I used to have a cat that fetched and begged though.

I have three cats and two dogs. They all prefer to play with things like fabric scraps, and plastic bottles over actual toys. I have tried buying them toys from the store but they never pay attention to them and they always end up just playing with a shampoo bottle or underwear.

Cats love fetch! It's very common. My cats are nuts about those feather wands with the long strings so i can drag it across the floor. I even have one that makes bird noises when they yank on the string.

I think my cat's number one toy will be a live cockroach... we are terrified of it, so it's a good thing to have a "pest-controller" in the house!
Another thing that my cat likes is the opened umbrella left on the floor to dry; he can sit under it and jump out at passing feet and of course we have to pretend to be started to humour him!

I have 5 cats and they all love to play with a laser pointer. Plus since I am lazy I can play with them without doing to much...lol...;)

It's a toss up. my cats love cat dance (piece of wire with toilet paper roll attached) and a belt dragged along the floor.

Our 5 month old kitten does. She carries around foil balls, she also carries around a teddy bear that makes kissing noise. She has been carrying that around by the nose since it was bigger then she was. She carried it down the stairs as soon as she was big enough to go down them.
