things like vegetables that are mostly water, like lettuce, cukeumbers, celery, bell peppers, mushrooms, zuchini and other things like that are lower in calories than other foods.

Whenever I need to 'diet' and drop the 3 lbs I gained over an overindulgand weekend, I eat a lot of veggies for about a week.

Forget the salads-I want to feel full. I slice a yellow squash/zuchini and some mushrooms, then heat that up in some canned chopped tomatoes, a little basil, garlic and top it all off with a little fresh grated parmesan cheese. Its indulgant, savory and totally low calorie!

tomato soup is also a favorite. Make it with fat free chicken broth and canned, chopped tomatoes and some tomato paste. You can totally count the calories, cut out the fat....and its good too! Make it super yummy by adding sauteed onions and some garlic & basil. Use fat free pan spray to sautee in.

Im all over water. I like to get it different ways, with ice, lemon, bubbly water with lime, etc. There are drink additives, like berry flavored, or iced tea flavored packets that add flavor and little to no calories.

Good luck, diet safe and eat well.
