Inward beauty has more lasting value than outward beauty. Inward beauty grows with age while outward beauty dissappears with age.

I'm a women, but I'd say for anyone I see looks first. You can tell a lot about people based on how they dress and even how they carry themselves around others (body language). If I get a bad vibe off of someone, then I usually don't approach them. I look at personality second.

As a women, I trust my intuition. A lot of people here, say they don't judge based on looks, I beg to differ. Would you approach someone whom looked like they had not showered, or wash their clothes in a few days? Think about it. That's judging.

How people dress and carry themselves does say a lot. If someone doesn't take the time to comb their hair, then they are probably someone who is slobby in other areas of there life. Not sure I would want to associate with someone like that.

Both are very important... you will come ot know a person very much with their deeds and also by how they look!!! their body language matters a lot... look is something the way they present their personality to others... everyone of us will think to look good infront of others.. so we will try to wear good clothes and makeups right!!! so nothing wrong in that.... but you can judge a person when they come closer to you... Once if you start to mingle with them you start to smell whether they are good or a rotten stuff... so keeps your eyes and ears open to judge some one

I try not to judge people at all but we can't help it most of the time so I'd go with the way they act. Looks can be deceiving, actions tell you alot about the real person.

Both, but personality is the key. An example I'll give is I know several stuck-up "hot" girls I wouldn't give the time of day, as well as sweet ones I would, and I know a really sweet big girl that I would definately date no questions asked just because she is a sweet and beautiful person inside and out.

you should judge the girl from the inside not by the act the act can just so that she can get attention

how they act.

the way they look is only for the first time you meet a girl (you have no other info), but it means nothing if they don't have a good personality to back it up

First, there must be a spark, so at face value looks are first noticed...yet they can quickly fade if a girl is a jerk! Likewise, a girl with average looks can become beautiful if she has a cool personality...

well, i am a girl but i can still answer, eh?
i would say most boys go by looks, just because that's their first impression.
you can't just look at a girl and be like "Wow, she is so nice." but you can be like "Meow, sexy!"
So looks for most boys.
Although i will say most girls like compliments better if they have to do with their personality, it isn't too shabby to be told you're good looking. :]
