i bet after the first few minutes he realized what a big mistake he made. so that was why he started to cry, he was mad at himself. and i am glad that you cried for jesus. but as you were crying Satan and myself were laughing it up.

I have cried for Jesus too when I thought about the crucifixion but I don't believe that when he died he cried for himself. The Bible tells us that he shared in the grief of his friends over the death of Lazarus (John 11) (who he raised from the grave) and that he wept for the city of Jerusalem (Luke 19) but there is no report that he ever cried for himself. Did he suffer horribly? Yes. Did he feel alone when he cried out, "Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani" which means, "My God, my God, why have you deserted me?" Yes. He was the Son of God but he was also completely human.
But remember that as he was being led out to be crucified, he told a large crowd of women who were weeping for him, "Women of Jerusalem, don't cry for me! Cry for yourselves and for your children." (Luke 23:26) Then he had the ability to say to the soldiers after they nailed him to the cross, "Father, forgive these people! They don't know what they're doing." (Luke 23:34) These are all examples of how Jesus never had any regard for himself, only for others. He came to serve completely and perfectly and was the only one who could.

In the garden of Gesemane (sic?), Jesus prayed that God should take this yoke from him if it was God's will. It says that he prayed so hard that blood poured from his forehead. I don't think that this was an easy burden for Jesus to take on. remember that while he was 100% God, he was also 100% man. He still had emotions and temptations as we do. I also believe that when God told him that this was the only way to save mankind, that Jesus made the decision to see it through and becuase he was god in the flesh, he was able to do so with great dignity.
I believe he cried for the sins of the world and for those who will never see the truth, despite his awesome sacrifice. He even wanted those who tortured him to have salvation. As he hung on the cross--broken, bloodied, bruised, beaten--his words were "Father, forgive them."
What an awesome and amazing love this was. What a great gift to each and every one of us. Praise the Lord!

Jesus was here in a human form. He was able to feel pain and sorrow. He was a teacher here and an example. There is nothing wrong about crying for a reason.

jesus wept.
i am thinking he wept because he knew the great love he had for all of us was going to be and was mocked by so many.
i think he had some worry that his father had left him also. i dont know how much he wondered about that.
i think some of his tears were tears of joy and of relive it is done
he had one huge tough job to do. he stood up to satan he endured pain he kept his faith he lived the live of a mortal and he loved us. he too may have seen that he had not failed. he would have seen his mother cry his friends cry and known that they did not know as he did that he would come again over come death hell and live having used none of his armies to do so .
he did after all have with in him the power to end all. he managed to not end all but instead to clear a path in the darkness for the sinners to find the light . to find him .
what joy he must have felt when he himself saw that light the light that he brought into the world and is now and forever more the making of.

No. He sweated blood in the Garden beforehand out of fear and anxiety, and He wept for others, but He never cried for himself. He had a job to do, and He did it.

I certainly can't speak for him, but I would imagine he probably did cry because of what he was about to and was going through. If nothing else, just the fact that his friend betrayed him was enough to cry over I think.
