Where do these people get this stuff. Gestation period for a cat is an average of 9 weeks, can vary by as much as 5-7 days either way, depending on the cat. Cats are like humans, they can get pregnant over and over again, but they do not get pregnant on top of already being pregnant.
If your cat is a first-timer, it would be good for you to assist if you can, but cats are pretty good at taking care of themselves. If you are being a midwife, the two most helpful things you can do are to pull the amniotic sac away from the kitten's face to assist its breathing, and dry off the kittens briskly (but gently), it helps to wake them up. If you separate them from there placentae, be sure to crush the umbilical cord between your fingers about 3/4 to an inch away from the kitten's body before clipping it; otherwise it may bleed.
It is good to let the mother eat one or two of the placentae, which contain important nutrients, but she doesn't have to get them all.

63 days. Make sure that when she is two weeks away that you start to feed her kitten food instead of her normal diet. It contains more calcium that will help her to make the milk that she will be feeding the little ones. Good luck, oh, and make sure you keep her indoors. Some cats once pregnant will enter what is called a second heat, which means she can get pregnant again, and she may do that again after the kittens are born.

i think its like 63 days! it could be less tho! When the cat gives birth make sure u have scissors and gloves and a plastic bag!
When my cat gave birth for the first time she pured really loud and bit me then i saw a bubble coming out of her then it bursted then a baby started coming out! U should cut the placenta and the bad off around the baby coz the cat will take to long to eat the placenta and forget the baby! good luck!
