An excellent point; try not to answer the whole question, just direct them to a source, or suggest a possible answer.

well at least they know how to use the internet...haha...simply tell them that they need to figure it out on their own...and if we all do this then they will realize that they should hit the books rather than wasting their time trying to find the answers from us...if you feel a tad bit sorry then just give them a website that will point them in the right direction but don't explain too much details about what they are looking for

Osmosis... oh watch, know they are going to post a question asking what osmosis is! Then someone else will post a question about learning through osmosis!

I probably just encouraged another 5 or more useless questions with my answer!

LOL

Well, if people are nice enough, then they're responses will hopefully have an explanation with it. I know when I post an answer I always explain what I did. By the way, you used their wrong. It's their and not theyre, that would be they are. Contractions.

They do learn something. They learn to keep coming to people who know things for answers, and will continually do this throughout life. They're called "managers".

Capitalize words at the beginning of a sentence. "gonna" is not a word. "theyre" is phonetic..what you meant was 'their'. "yahoo answers" is a proper noun...both words need to be capitalized (Yahoo! Answers). You didn't seem to learn anything, either...we are no worse, and most of the time, we are just as good or better.

Sometimes I word my answers so that it explains the concept rather than just giving the answer. It's not ideal, but I hope it helps them.

who cares i would rather they learnt social lessons anyway not the rediculious lessons they teach in schools where prizes are awarded to the person who can regurgitate what they are told to learn- hell you dont even need to understand what you are being taught just be able to regurgitate it back to the teacher/ test.

in anycase on the job experience is better for sure...
