Has anyone tried the lapband to loose weight and how much did they lose ?

Did anyone pay cash and how much was it ? ( I can't get insurance .)

I met a guy who was over 500 pounds and is now 140. He just had his surgery 2 years ago.

Made me interested in getting that, I'm lucky that I have coverage now. What reasons are you not eligible for insurance? Do they cause you disability? I got my coverage through my social security disability (Medicare) and they cover. I'm only 33, but think it would be good for the day I cannot walk anymore and someone has to take care of me.

ask your dr if you can try topamax-it makes you not hungry and help depression
