Most recruiters will always contact an old recruit. Some do not because like your wife said,"he met his quota," it all depends on the indivicual recruiter and how much he likes recruiting. Most recruiters know that their best recruiting tool is past recruits that will bring them more "business."
Don't forget he might be busy as hell and not have the time if he isn't meeting his quota.

Nope you get on with your life. I used to stay in contact with my recruiter until he retired, but you have to remember they are speaking with lots of potential soldiers all the time, they are busy. Don't take it personal, he was a help in giving you employment and a new self sense of meaning.
You have a set check you dont get paid for signing up extra recruits, you have a set salary in the military~to the woman below you.
I dont know what branch you are currently in so im going to refer to you as soldier as i am. Don't listen to people downing your battlebuddies, you joined a force thats admirable, you are defending your nation. I dont even know you but you are now my brother who i would die for. Dont worry about the recruiter not contacting you back. Train hard, love your family and be the best soldier you can be, hooah!
