My mom signed all these papers for the dentsit I guess to do what was needed for me to get my wisdom teeth pulled. I have so afraid of what they are going to do is it going to hurt? He has decided that an injection would be BEST a small dose and that if I needed more he would give it to me. How come I cant sign any papers since I'm the one getting it done? And my mom signed for me to get Behaviorbale Management Treatment at the dentist that scares me all the more. My mom or dentist doesn't know that I'm worried and I dint want to say (at least to me mom) what can I do to relax? I'm going crazy I feel like calling better yet not going?
By the way what's the point of him pulling them? They dont even hurt, I didn't even know they were there. How many wisdom teeth do we have total anyway. He's pulling two total.

Tell the dentist that you are nervous and request nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to relax you.
You'll be fine.

Everyone has 4. Sometimes they are impacted and cannot be seen except under x-ray. The dentists sometimes pull them even if they do not hurt cause they can twist and rub up against your back molars. That hurts a lot. You can also get cavities that you cannot see back there because it is really hard to brush them. You need to tell your mom that you are anxious and also tell the dentist. The actual pulling does not hurt. You are numb. You will feel a lot of pressure though. It will hurt after, but vicoden is your friend. Ask for the good pain pills. If you are really nervous, talk to your mom about being put to sleep. Some dentists can do it but they have to know before hand so the anesthesiologist can be brought in.

You have 4 wisdom teeth and the reason you couldn't sign is because you are a minor. SInce you are nervous and afraid you need to tell the doc that is pulling them all of this so he can give you medication if you need it to ease your anxiety. You cannot just call or cancel and you mom will most likely be taking you. Tell her your worries too and ask her what it was like when she had her wisdom teeth pulled.

all you should feel is a pinch when you get the shot, then it just feels like pressure-it's not bad at all-they pull wisdom teeth because they often crowd other teeth or come in wrong. Anger management with the dentist? why?
