if you hit someone with your vehicle but it was not your fault, but u failed to ask for insurance information from the other party and a name, how lomg is your license restricted?

What you have described is not a hit & run.

in some cases they wouldn't even put a restriction on your license at all and if they did it would only be for one year for that charge there,they cant really count it as leaving the scene ,unless you did leave and they found you later on,id call the drivers license bureau ,and ask them about this they should be able to tell you exactly how long any restriction can stay against your license,good luck with it,i hope this helps.

In my state.. you wouldnt be asking this question.. they dont allow internet access in prison
