No way. That guy is a KEEPER!! He is a real human-being and should be able to show emotions.

As a girl who has had her boyfriend do this, I will say this--seeing that your significant other feels enough for you that he/she is so moved when you are distressed that they themselves start crying is one of the most powerful things in the world. A few months ago, my heart was breaking over a girl I know who was making bad decisions and placing herself in potentially very dangerous situations. My heart was bleeding for her and for the pain I was afraid she would experience were she to continue in these activities. I broke down and was bawling. I couldn't handle it--I was hurting too much inside. My fiance wrapped me in his arms, gave me advice, and gently wiped the tears from my face, kissing me to let me know that everything was going to be alright.
1. If my boyfriend teared up a little bit because he couldn't bear to see and feel me suffering, it would make me love him even more (which I don't think is even possible, though I seem to love him more with each passing day). It is nice to know that someone cares that deeply about you, and is there for the long haul.
2. I would NOT think of him as less of a man. I would NOT view it as weak. A man willing to show his emotions is one of the most attractive things around. Society has convinced men that they are weak if they cry or show anyone any kind of vulnreability. Don't believe that lie. While that may be what society wants out of men, that is not what women (not girls, but women) want out of a man. A man who cares so deeply for his significant other that he experiences her pain is extremely attractive. It is a sign of strength to let that side of you show.

One time, in a pure moment of bliss, i just started crying and crying...because i was so happy...with my boyfriend. & I had never done that before. And then he started crying too. And i thought it was adorable, made me even happier actually. So the truth is, weather i'm crying of happiness or sadness, i LOVE when a guy is brave enough to cry with me, Yes, BRAVE. SHows he cares!!! A lot of guys try to hide their feelings, i prefer someone to let it all out and show what they are feeling. Its just adorable to watch them go from a bad *** to a few tears. Love it!! i don't view it as less of a man or weak at all .Guys have feelings to, nothing wrong with showing them once in awhile! :)

Wow! If a guy cried because he couldn't bear to see me cry, I'd cry tears of joy because that shows how much he really cares. If that did happen, I would give the man a "Best Boyfriend of the Year" award..... That is totally showing that he is more of a man than you thought. I think that a guy isn't considered a "man" unless he cries.
Thanks.

1. I would honestly feel guilty for making him tear up and prolly cry harder
2. I wouldn't think of it as being less of a man or "weak". I've seen my husband cry one ever and it was the worst feeling ever for me. I think it would just mean that they really care about how you feel.

No, it doesn't make him weak. I think it's sweet! In fact, I had a similar situation at the beginning of January. We had a lot of rain and my basement flooded. I was pretty hysterical and called him. He came over and after he helped me get started on cleaning up the mess, he held me while I bawled. I felt a tear drip on my shoulder but his eyes seemed dry when I was finally able to lift my head to look at him.

I don't think a girl would ever look at a guy and think that he's weak if he cries. In this scenario, I see that the guy really cares for the girl. He's sort of saying that he is also in pain because it hurts him to see her like this. I would be happy to know that a guy cares so much for me.

it wouldnt bother me in the least if i saw my boyfriend crying in that situation. if anything, it would for one show me just how much he loves me, it hurting him to see me so hurt.. and i would be all about making him feel better right then..which would make the problem at hand seem insignificant
and, no i wouldnt think of him as weak, or less than a man. i would rather have a man who shows emotion, love, rage, tears, than a man who bottles it all up and just explodes one day
does that answer your questions?

1: i would think that he really cares for me and probably cry some more. his actions show that he's really sensitive (or maybe he just feels guilty because he thinks he did something?)
2: that's exactly what i look for in a man. no crying guy is "weak"
a weak guy is someone who can't stand up for himself or his loved ones

I think it makes him more of a man because the the stigma that "real" men don't cry. I don't view it as weakness, just a sign of love.

i think it would be heroic, and romantic and really honest of him to want to share the pain with me,
i love men who can cry their heart out, i do like men who are strong and brave and all that, but i also need and appreciate a lot of sensitivity and concern
if he cries when im crying, and feels sad because i feel so weak , he must really love me
