Is it at all about appearances?or just whats on paper?

Ok. husband and I are going to apply for our first home loan on Thursday. Should I buy a new, smart, suit or something or does it only matter whats on the papers in front of us? How dressed up did you get??

I wore jeans and a t-shirt. All that matters is your net worth and your credit rating.

Never applied for a loan, but if it is a large bank then I would assume that you can wear normal clothing, because the loan is based solely on your finances. If it is a very small bank then it might be better to dress nicer to make a good impression.
