Somehow, I came under the impression that most people, even Christians, do not believe in Satan anymore. And then I discovered Yahoo! Answers...

Yeah, and I find it ironic that the only ones who do believe in him are Christians...not even Satanists believe in Satan.

It is amazing and there are lots of Satanic cults and people who love that kind of thing..Eventually it will be their downfall as it is negative. Just because this person asked this questions They are not stating Their religion they may be agnostic, budist etc. I think it is a legitamate question ..As yes it is on the increase. Just look at some of the handles on this site...hmmm

I'm not surprised at all... Christians are to be in the Word and know God thru their study of His Bible... the Bible speaks of satan many times... to 'disbelieve' in him would be to cut out parts of God's word as untrue... when it is all true

It doesn't surprise me, but I know that God and Jesus both had conversations with him in the Bible, so they know he is real. The only one promoting the idea that he is not real and is no danger to us is Satan himself. He would love for us to let our guard down. Then, we can all be destroyed right along with him.

Of course. We believe that he was thrown out of Heaven for causing a war and he was sent here to cause even more trouble. We also believe that he wants to take as many of us down with him as possible.

Not really surprised. That is the way he wants it. He wants people to not believe in him, so they don't get when he is effecting them. It's one of his tricks. I believe in him. I know he's there and working to try to get me to do things that I know are wrong. Just keep believing in him and it's easier to not do things you know aren't from God.
