I just watched The Lost Tomb of Jesus on Discovery Channel and I was amazed with it. I personally do not care if Jesus was a Father or not...that is none of my business. He WAS and IS the son of GOD...He was a MAN and he could have been married secretly and had a child with his wife. If he did then he would STILL be the SON of GOD and would have still rose on the 3rd day after the crucifixion. He could have rose in spirit and not in body. The bible I read says I am not to question...I am to believe. We are ALL children of GOD so whether Jesus had a son is not important and all will be explained to us when we get to our final destination. Everything that happened during the life and crucifixion of Jesus was not written...people did not write a documentary on the life and times of Jesus 2000 years ago. Many, many years were left out even in the King James version of the bible between his birth and his teachings and his crucifixion. Many mistakes have been made when translations were made between the original writings of the bible to the translations we have now and are found to be inaccurate. So who is to say that many parts or writings from 2000 years ago have been lost or destroyed and may never be discovered. Everything will be answered soon enough and we are not to question. What difference would it make anyway.

There are a pair good solutions right here already. working example, marriage is a vocation in and of itself, and that replaced into no longer Jesus' challenge. additionally, it does no longer jive with the 'bride of the Church' metaphors. i think of, even nevertheless, that a 0.33 reason is that marriage is assumed to be the union of a guy and a woman wherein the two become one. oftentimes, it rather is not an argument, yet while the husband is likewise God, does no longer that inherently deify the spouse? there is one God with 3 persons in Him - the father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. The advent of a spouse could make this variety 4, and that is an issue.

I don't think it would be a problem. Jesus was a human as we all are and for him to have been married is not far fetched, In those times it was comin and especially in his religion. The bible focuses on the year it wants to what happened to him when he was told he wasn;t the son of joseph did he feel different than his siblings and why is the fact he had siblings not mentioned what is wrong with that.

Besides the fact that it is a blatant lie and totally takes the focus away from the true purpose of Jesus' coming to earth...
Jesus came to earth to do his Fathers will, preach and teach people about His Fathers Heavenly Kingdom and the many blessing it will bring for mankind.
He also came to earth to give up his perfect human life a ransom sacrifice to buy back what Adam and Eve had lost for mankind and that was the opportunity for eternal life.

The problem is this would me that a Davine lineage would exist. This would also mean that Jesus was not pure, and his death would not be significant. He was a sacrifice. God sacrificed his only begotten son to atone our sins. Jesus was pure, and lived a sinless existence. His focus was salvation from day one, if he new it or not. Through his death, he made the ultimate sacrifice, and payed the price for sins that he had not done. He paid the price for the sins of all. If he had done anything to compromise that purity, his sacrifice would not be worth anything. If that were the case, we are all lost, and there is no chance for us.

Seriously,I'm getting tired of the 'Jesus was married' theories. There is absolutely no evidence for either of those ideas.
I do not go around making up theories that any other famous single person had a hidden wife or child, because there is no evidence for this.People today are too quick to jump on the latest conspiracy bandwagon.

It wouldn't have mattered but then it would have started a whole new thing with the lineage. Jesus was here for only one purpose and after that was accomplished He was to sit at Gods right side.

It doesn't fit the fantasy image people have of him.

Keep in mind this Jesus is also pictured as a white man with blue eyes!

He wouldn't be divine. Jesus is supposed to be above human needs and desires. If he did that, he would be no higher than you or I.
