Do not worry to much, just do comfortable fatigue do not go to failure keep reps above 12. To add mass to your muscles you need to intake more food, being a women you will have less androgenic hormones.

the diet determines the size of the muscles not how heavy you train. with out a caloric excess there can not be increased muscle size, it's that plain and simple.

using low weights and high reps is the best way to physically look the same year after year. the body has no reason to change and adapt if it is not challenged. if you are squatting 100 lbs in Jan '07 and are squatting 110 lbs in Jan '08 olds are your body will look exactly the same.

I don't know how much you can lift right now so I can't really determine how much weight you should use but do light enough weight where you can get about 12 -15 reps

The key for those of us who bulk up really easily is to do "lighter weights" but more reps. That should help you get tone without getting really "bulky."

just don't increase the weights too much. it's not so much the reps as the weights you are using. Try to stay 10 pounds or less.

Good question. From what was shared with me, I was told that what you eat determines if you bulk up or not. What do you think?

Thanks and let me know,
