1.) The way he was willing to live his entire life to help others to trust in God and have the hope of everlasting life has helped me to realize just how selfish my life was before. Of course, I am still a long way from giving everything else up but I am doing much better.
2.) The way he was so far above every person he came in contact with and yet he lovingly and patiently related to them every single day has helped me to try to take more time to compose myself before I speak to anyone and really think about helping them more than just winning the discussion at hand or getting my own point across.
3.) The way he was so empathetic as to lead the deaf man away from the city and all the noise before restoring his hearing has helped me to consider carefully where other people might have special needs that I can consider before I just rush right in and change their circumstances. I know I can never make as big a difference in anyone's life as he made in those he helped but I can lead others to him and he can make a big difference for them.
