I've always gone stag to my company party because I can be free to come and go as I please. I love to dance. Mostly the women love to dance and their guys just sit there. So I just dance with each woman and we all enjoy it. But you know what? I am starting to get tired of dancing with everyone else's date. But I am just not sure about bringing a date when she is not my girlfriend. I just want to bring someone who enjoys dancing as much as I do. I am afraid that if I bring, say, just a friend, and she doesn't dance much, then we end up just sitting around. Well the party is coming in two weeks so this may be moot because where would I find a date? Haha! Weird thought eh?

What's the best thing for you? Since you enjoy dancing, would you rather have fun dancing with other guys' dates or be stuck with a date who doesn't dance? I think you should just go ahead and do what you've always done or find a friend who likes to dance and won't mind being your "date."

take a date a man . dance with one or two men from the office the boss for one the man who you sort of have a thing for even if only in your mind.
the date should be told that some of the dancing you do is sort of duty call dance.
the rest of the time get drunk have fun and show your date a great time .

No, don't bring a girl to a company party unless you're in a serious relationship. Otherwise it's awkward when you introduce her and people ask how she's doing 3 months down the line when you stopped dating a month ago.

If you love to dance, go to dance clubs, and meet girls. Ask one to your company party.

But be ware, when going to a work event, you may be judged by your choice of company, or lack of consistant company--no more or less than your consistant lack of company.

Although I am single, and date around, I have one friend who is single and is always my date at company events. She is the only female freind of mine that they know.
(Oh yea, this has been an enduring practice, sometimes who ever her current bf is dosen't like it, but she goes with me anyway. I'm very lucky to have her as a friend--for more than the company parties)
