Depends on the type of tracking you would like to do with your dog. I train my dogs to track *foot steps* but there is air scent tracking also. Julia knows how to do all types of tracking.

You could also find a Schutzhund Club and train your dog in all 3 phases of the Sport.. depends on what you are wanting to accomplish with your dog..

I don't know of a website for tracking but i do know of a yahoo group that could help you called tristatetrackers

there are a couple of books you can purchase-
from the eldreds there is 'fascinating scent' and from susan clothier there is 'searching for ghosts'
also, the akc site may have more info on getting started in tracking. go to www.akc.org and click on 'event's and then on 'tracking'.

Well, it depends on what style you are teaching, like AKC, Schutzhund, search and rescue, etc. Can you be more specific?
