In States, about 13-15 years. Most get 25. The thing is, most rapists don't really make it out of prison. Inmates prey on them and beat the crap out of them non-stop. My boyfriend is currently in federal prison, and in the last 6 months the entire prison was on lockdown 3 times; each time because another rapist got killed. If someone goes to prison for rape, he needs to request a protective custody right away/

They should release all non violent drug offenders and make room for rapist and murders. I don't know why they let rapist out of jail, especially child rapist. Leave them in there!

You can do some research on this yourself probably. It may depend on what state you live in since some crimes have more specific laws and/or punishments in their state.

I don't know, but the avg time a murderer serves is 13 years.
