Being together you should want to spend time with each other (otherwise why are you together), but on the same note you still need you time.. hubby and I love to spend time together but we are spoken and both agree that it is equally important to have time to do what we want without each other. Just because you are in a relationship does not mean you have to give up you - compromise yes, but not give up all together. The key is communication, you need to tell him how you feel and I am sure he will understand.

If your mate is saying you don't spend enough time with them you need to ask yourself why? is it true? why don't you want to spend time with him? have you grown apart from him and don't want to be there anymore?? With HIM*
You need to take some time out for you..and figure out what it is you want from life..and is living with him for the rest of your life something you're willing to do?? Ppl do change...and fall out of love for one reason or another...sometimes the other person changes and wants to move ahead in life while others are comfortable living it just the way they are* GOODLUCK*

many times I need my space to be left alone and so does my wife. Sometimes we recognize that in each other. It still can lead to fights or sometimes just being quiet with each other for a day or two. There are many facets to ones make-up and anyone or combo of them can lead to ones needing space - big deal -

If I never spend time with him, I'd feel bad.
Both my boyfriend and I are introverts. We recharge better alone. And we're independent, so we don't need each other all of the time.
Maybe you're with someone more needy?

TIME ALONE IS GOOD FOR ALL, AND YOUR MATE SHOULD RESPECT THAT. MINE DOES. ITS GOOD TO TIME TO COLLECT YOURSELF AND BRING THINGS INTO PERSPECTIVE. ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A PARENT! THE TIME THING YOUR MATE HAS AN ISSUE WITH SHOULDN'T BE CAUSED BY THE TIME YOU NEED ALONE. HOW MUCH TIME ARE YOU WANTING? AND ARE YOU GOING TO BARS OR ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ALONE.

I'm with you~ My hubby is around me 24/7 now that he is retired. He asked me the other day if I ever fantasize about him. I said, "Sure!..sometimes it's with poison, and sometimes it's just with a pillow over your face!"

Everyone needs time by themselves - it is natural and your partner should respect your wishes and know that it is healthy for a relationship

If your significant other needs more time from you and you simply want to run away, maybe it's time to break it off.
