reading is exercise for the brain. also if you have trouble remembering something write it down. the process of writing further reinforces the memory but in a active manner while reading is passive.

Practice, Practice, Practice. Repetition, repetition, repetition. Read it, write it, repeat it, say it out loud, and repeat it again until you have it memorized. That is all there is to it. If you can't do that, then something important is bothering you that is preventing you from remembering, like depression, accidents, brain injury, Alzheimers, illness, etc.

Don't listen to the people who say reading! I read every single night, at least 40 pages and my memory STINKS! Give us some better answers people! *shakes fist*
